Activity Recognition using Smart Phones
While working at the University of Sydney, I worked on a project to determine whether activity recognition using smart phones was possible and to what standard. We discovered that while the hardware is substandard to the hardware used in dedicated activity recognition devices the main problem is the lack of software available.
